Rename a Language

Contentstack allows you to rename the existing languages of your stack.

To rename a language, log in to your Contentstack account, and perform the following steps:

1. Go to your stack, click the “Settings” icon (press “S”) on the left navigation panel, and select Languages (or press “alt + L” for Windows OS, and “option + L” for Mac OS). You will see the default master language along with other added language(s).
2. This opens the Languages page that displays the list of languages added to the stack. Click on a language to rename it.
3. Provide a suitable Name for the language. For example, Hindi - India can be renamed to Hindi.

   Note: You cannot edit the code of a language

4. Click on Save.
