Copy an Entry

To create a duplicate copy of an existing entry, log in to your Contentstack account, go to your stack, and perform the steps given below:

  1. Click on the “Entries” icon on the left navigation panel. You can also use the shortcut key “E” (for both Windows OS and Mac OS users) to access entries.
  2. Select the entry that you want to create a copy of.
  3. Click on the “More Options” button (ellipses) located at the bottom of the page, and select Copy. This will create and open a copy of the entry on a new page.
  4. Click Save.

You have now created and saved a copy of the entry.

Alternatively, you can also create a copy of the entry from the entries list page, by following the steps below:

  1. On the Entries list page, locate the entry you want to copy and click on the “vertical ellipsis” (three dots) in the Actions column.
  2. From the dropdown menu that appears, select Copy.
  3. Make the necessary changes to the entry and Save the entry.
