Introducing our new search experience

At Contentstack, we understand that efficient content discovery is critical to keeping up with the demands of omnichannel delivery. Based on your feedback, we've reimagined our search capabilities in this new release. This upgrade brings a fresh look and feel to the search experience within our CMS, along with powerful new features designed to help you find content faster and more efficiently than ever before.

Streamlined search functionality

The streamlined search bar now sits within the Entries table, allowing you to effortlessly search within Entries and Assets directly from the main table view. Intelligent type-ahead suggestions and the ability to widen the scope or switch the context of your search across all fields, titles, and specific fields within a content type make zeroing in on the right content a breeze.

Granular filtering

We've also completely revamped filters to be more intuitive and customizable. You can now select which filters are visible and rearrange the order to optimize your workflow. Quickly narrow your search by publish status, content type, language, taxonomy, date range, and more. You can even combine multiple filters instantly to further refine your query.

Custom views

One of the most exciting additions to this release is Views, which allows you to save not just your search queries but your entire workspace configuration. Pin the content columns you use most, set your preferred filters, adjust column sizes, and save it all as a custom view. You can then access these views under “My Views” anytime to pick up where you left off.

Advanced search capabilities

For power users, our Advanced Search lets you perform complex queries using nested conditional logic. Specify multiple levels of conditions and sub-conditions to pinpoint content meeting your exact criteria. The easy-to-use interface makes building intricate queries a lot simpler and more straightforward than before.

A leap forward in content discovery

Our new search experience marks a giant leap forward in content discovery within our CMS. Whether performing a quick search or a multi-faceted query, the new experience helps you navigate your content more efficiently than ever before. This release is currently in Early Access and will be rolled out to all customers in phases over the coming weeks.
