Back up Existing Content

You can use Contentstack’s webhooks to create content backups at your end. A webhook is a user-defined HTTP callback that sends real-time information to any third-party app or service.

Webhooks trigger whenever an event happens, such as a new entry has been created in a content type or an existing entry has been deleted. You can specify an external URL, in your webhook, to which you would like Contentstack to post data when an event happens. This external URL will now act as your data backup center, regularly storing all the changes made to your content. This will ensure data retention in case of accidental deletion of content.
