Description

Contentstack’s SCIM app allows you to manage users of your Contentstack organization via your Identity Provider (IdP). This means that whenever you add or remove new users from your IdP, you automatically add or remove them from the respective Contentstack organization.

System for Cross-domain Identity Management, or SCIM, is a secure protocol that enables automatic user provisioning. It eases the process of managing user identity data between an identity provider (Microsoft Azure Active Directory) and service provider (Contentstack).

In order to set up SCIM, you must configure it from your Contentstack organization's settings.

Use cases

Provision or deprovision users: By enabling SCIM, you can configure Contentstack as a provisioning app in Microsoft Azure Active Directory, which will allow you to provision or deprovision users automatically with Contentstack.

Create groups and grant permissions in Contentstack: You can use the SCIM app functionality to create groups in Contentstack via your IdP and grant permissions to a set of users.
