Import a Webhook

You can create a new webhook or update an existing webhook by importing a JSON file with the webhook data.

Import a new webhook

To import a webhook, log in to your Contentstack account, go to your stack, and Perform the steps given below:

  1. Click the “Settings” icon on the left navigation panel and select Webhooksimport_a_webhook_1_highlighted.png
  2. Click on the + New Webhook button on the top right side of the page.
  3. On the webhook configuration page, click on the Import button available on the bottom-right corner of the page.import_a_webhook_3_highlighted.png
  4. Browse and select the appropriate JSON file and click on Import.

This imports your webhook.

Update a webhook by importing JSON file

Open the webhook that you need to update, and perform the following steps:

  1. Click on the Import button available at the bottom of the webhook page.
  2. Browse and select the appropriate JSON file and click on Import.

This will update your existing webhook.
