Enable or Disable Drafts and Auto Save
Note: Drafts and Auto Save is currently part of an Early Access Program and may not be available to all users. Contact the Contentstack support team for more information.
Stack Administrators can control whether Drafts and Auto Save is available for entries in a stack.
When enabled, Contentstack automatically saves entry changes as drafts while users edit content. This helps prevent data loss and supports collaborative editing.
To enable or disable Drafts and Auto Save, log in to your Contentstack account, and perform the following steps:
- Navigate to your stack and click Entries or use the shortcut key “E” (for both Windows and Mac users).
- Click Settings and select Entries.
- Enable or disable the Drafts and Auto Save option.
- Save your changes.
The selected setting applies to all entries in the stack and determines whether entry changes are automatically saved as drafts while users edit content.
Note: Drafts and Auto Save applies only to entry editing. Other components, such as content types, require manual saves.
