UI and Access Management

3. Variants Not Visible in Non-Main Branches

Summary
When switching from the main branch to another branch within the same stack, variant groups and entry variants may not be visible. This restricts testing and validation of personalized experiences in branch environments.

Root Cause
Entry variants, variant groups, and related personalization configurations are currently supported only in the main branch and are not cloned to newly created branches.

Resolution

  • Validate that personalization testing is being performed in the main branch.
  • Refer to official documentation regarding specific branch limitations for Personalize.
  • Plan development and branch workflows to account for these architectural constraints.

Verification
Variants are visible and configurable when working within the main branch.

4. Unexpected UI Behavior in Personalize

Summary
Users may observe abrupt screen transitions or inconsistent content rendering when Personalize is active in production. This impacts user experience stability and pre-launch validation confidence.

Root Cause
The issue could not be validated without supporting artifacts. Investigation remained dependent on customer-side reproduction and system logs.

Resolution

  • Collect screenshots and session recordings of the behavior.
  • Provide specific timestamps and affected URLs for log correlation.
  • Reopen the investigation once supporting artifacts are available.

Verification
No abnormal UI behavior occurs after environment validation and artifact review.
