Customize Your Dashboard View

You can customize the stack dashboard view, i.e., show or hide extensions and sort extensions, for yourself. Let’s understand how these customization features work.

Show/Hide Dashboard Extensions

You can show or hide dashboard extensions placed on your stack dashboard, log in to your Contentstack account and perform the steps given below:

  1. Select your Stack and click on the Edit Dashboard button located at the top right of the Dashboard page. Customize_Your_Dashboard_View_Show-Hide_Dashboard_Widgets_setting_highlighted.jpg
  2. You will see the list of all Dashboard Extensions that you have access to. You can Add or Remove any of these extensions in your dashboard. For example, if you want to hide the Recently Modified Assets Extension, just click the 'X' mark:

  3. Click Apply to apply the changes.

Additional Resource: You can also refer to our detailed guides that use Google Analytics and Content Type Visualizer to create customized dashboards.

Sort Dashboard Extensions

You can sort the dashboard extensions that appear on your stack dashboard by performing the following steps:

  1. Click on the Settings icon located at the top of the Dashboard page.
    Customize_Your_Dashboard_View_Show-Hide_Dashboard_Widgets_setting_highlighted.jpg
  2. You will see the list of all Dashboard Extensions that you have access to. Select and drag the Extension to place it as per your choice.
  3. Click Apply to apply the changes.

Note: The changes that you save (i.e., if you show or hide a extension) to your preferences, now work everywhere, irrespective of the browser or device you use.

Contentstack also allows you to create customized Dashboard Extensions using extension for personalizing your dashboard further.
