Contentstack Marketplace

Key Takeaways

Customers are telling us they want a flexible composable structure

Customers enjoy the flexibility of a composable architecture and the ease of integration with marketplace partners.

I'm definitely seeing a shift away from wanting to be tied down to a single vendor. Our customers want a composable structure where it grows with them and has the flexibility of where they wanna go today and where they wanna go in the future. We see a lot of customers wanting to build out and extend Contentstack. And another thing, too, is it just makes it a lot easier. One of the things that makes it easier is our marketplace. This makes it easier to integrate faster with a lot of our partners. You can have vendors instantly added to your stack and don't really have to think about all the ways that you're gonna do all those integrations.

Marketplace is a one-stop destination for anything extensible within Contentstack

Marketplace makes it easy to extend your stack and create automations.

Our marketplace is our one-stop destination for anything extensible within Contentstack. You can build the tech stack that you want with apps that we've made, and based on your needs, one-click third-party integrations from our certified partners. We guide you through the whole entire process of installing these within your stack." “We also have our automations. Just like our apps, we walk you through how to build those automations based on certain unique use cases. You could have, for example, automation around localizing all of your content or even having it automate Slack messages based on when you have new content created.

How to keep track of new apps and other changes

The “What’s New” section and change logs help users stay abreast of new apps and functionality.

There are two places to see what’s new. One, within the app, there's a What's New section. Here you'll see not just within the Marketplace but definitely all the Marketplace apps will be available every time we introduce them. We also have our product change log. You can filter these based on our Marketplace apps so you can easily see all of the apps that we've released to the Marketplace. So as you can see, we're releasing apps pretty frequently." “An example of a new app is our Release Preview app. This takes all of that content aggregated that you have within a release and shows how it will look in the future.

Learn what’s on the horizon for composable DXP builders

Upcoming changes, such as a new calendar view, will help users manage day-to-day tasks within Contentstack.

We have a lot of apps that we're releasing. One is another type of calendar view, but this really extends to just about anything that has dates. So you'll be able to see all of the due dates that you have in your workflows, all of your releases, and anything scheduled to be published later. You'll be able to see all that within a Google-esque calendar view.” “We have focused on productivity within our platform. Making it easier to do your day-to-day tasks.

The level of help users can expect with Contentstack

Contentstack is dedicated to helping customers throughout their journey.

I think one of the biggest things is that we really want to help you through the journey. We have people there to help you know what integrations you need, based on your use case, even if it may be a Contentstack solution and from a different vendor." “You can even build out your own solution if APIs are involved. We have our Developer Hub, which is an easy way for you to build your own apps.

Where you can go to learn more about building your own app

Contentstack can help you get started and provide documentation.

We have all the documentation around our Developer Hub available. This allows you to see all the SDKs and APIs that we have available to build and extend the Contentstack platform.” “You could always reach out to us as well. We are always happy to walk you through the best way to implement an app." “We provide care with our compromise and don't push you off to somebody else who built the app. We're there every step of the way, working with our partners, understanding where the gaps are and working with you and the partners together. Definitely, our care without compromise extends to our extensibility and within our marketplace.
