# About Personalize

Contentstack Personalize is an edge-optimized personalization engine designed to deliver real-time, data-driven content experiences. Deliver real-time content efficiently and create personalized experiences without relying on developers.

## What You Can Do With Personalize

With Personalize, you can create and manage audiences, define audience attributes, and develop personalized experiences within your project. You can then link these experiences to your Content Types in Contentstack through Variants, allowing you to create content variations for dynamically delivering personalized content to visitors in real-time based on demographics, behavior, and preferences.

You can also [import](/docs/headless-cms/import-content-using-the-cli#support-for-variants) and [export](/docs/headless-cms/export-content-using-the-cli#support-for-variants) data for the Personalize modules ([Experiences](/docs/personalize/about-experiences), [Audiences](/docs/personalize/about-audiences), [Attributes](/docs/personalize/about-attributes), and [Events](/docs/personalize/about-events)) linked to a stack containing your Variants via the CLI.

Personalize is part of Contentstack's Data Cloud, working alongside [Lytics](/docs/lytics) to turn visitor behavior into audiences, and integrates with [Agent OS](/docs/agent-os) so agents and automations can act on personalization data as part of a broader AXP workflow.

## Enable and Access Personalize

**Note**: To enable Personalize for your organization, reach out to our [support](https://www.contentstack.com/support) team.

To access Personalize and create your first project, log in to your [Contentstack account](https://www.contentstack.com/login/) and follow these steps:

1.  In the top navigation bar, click the **App Switcher** icon and then click **Personalize**.
2.  You can then create a new Personalize project by clicking the **\+ New Personalize Project** button.
