# [Taxonomy] - Taxonomy-based Content Filtering on Entry List Page

This page explains how to use the taxonomy feature in Contentstack to filter and search entries on the Entries list page. It is intended for content managers and authors who organize entries using taxonomies and need to quickly view or find entries by taxonomy terms.

## Taxonomy-based Content Filtering on Entry List Page

Utilizing the new taxonomy feature, you gain the ability to organize and access your entries based on their assigned classifications.

Log in to your [Contentstack account](https://www.contentstack.com/login), and perform the following steps:
- Navigate to the [stack](/docs/developers/set-up-stack/about-stack) where you've categorized your entries, then click the "Entries" icon located in the left-hand navigation panel.
- On the entries list page, the left panel now displays all the taxonomies you've created within the stack.
- You can now choose specific terms from these taxonomies to filter and view entries that match those criteria. This customization allows you to have a tailored view of all your entries that have been categorized using taxonomies.

## Taxonomy-based Searching

You can search for entries containing specific terms using two methods. In a basic search, entering a term like "India" in the search bar displays entries with that term. For advanced search, you can apply multiple conditions to refine your query.
