# [Author Content] - Preview Content on Different Environments

This page explains how content managers and authors can use Contentstack’s Live Preview to preview entries across different environments (such as development, staging, and production) to validate content consistency before publishing.

## Preview Content on Different Environments

You can ensure your content looks consistent across different environments—such as development, staging, and production—using Contentstack’s Live Preview feature.

To preview your content in a specific environment, log in to your Contentstack account and perform the steps given below:
- Go to your stack and click the “Entries” icon in the left navigation panel or use the shortcut key “E” (for both Windows and Mac users).**Note:** Make sure to enable Live Preview in your stack, configure the base URL, and select the desired environment (development, staging, or production).
- Select an existing entry and click the Live Preview icon.
- In the preview panel, locate the **Settings** option.
- Under **Select Environment**, choose the environment you want to preview, such as Development, Staging, or Production.
- The preview will update automatically to reflect how your content appears in the selected environment.

This feature allows you to validate the accuracy and consistency of your content before it goes live. By previewing content in multiple environments, you can identify and address potential discrepancies, ensuring a seamless experience for your audience.

### Which environments can I preview?
You can preview content in environments such as Development, Staging, or Production.

### Do I need to refresh the page after selecting an environment?
