This section contains documentation related to the various other components of Contentstack. It provides guidance on how to use the web UI elements, the details of which are not covered in the other sections of 'Guide'. 

Publish Queue

When the Content Manager publishes an entry, the system puts the action into a publish queue. Jobs in this queue are performed one at a time, albeit at a high speed. This eliminates the need to wait for an entry to be published before moving on to the next item. You can keep publishing items and let the system manage the queue.

At any time, you can view the details of the entries/assets sent for publishing by clicking the Publish Queue link on the header. The details include time, entry, content type, version, language, user, environment, and status. You can also apply filters to the list and refine results based on the status, environment, publisher, language, content type, and date range.

Audit Log

Audit Log helps you monitor what’s happening in a particular stack. It displays a record of all the activities performed in a stack. This helps you keep a track of all published items, updates, deletes, and current status of the existing content.

By default, the audit log displays information of all activities in reverse chronological order. You can apply filters to refine the results to display only the information that you need.

To apply filters, click the filter icon to display the list of available filters. Specify a date range or choose one or more users, actions, modules, or languages.

To clear all filters, click 'Reset Filter'.
