# [Security Management] - Enable SCIM in Contentstack

This page explains how organization owners or admins can enable SCIM 2.0 in Contentstack. Read this if your plan supports SCIM and you need to turn it on before managing users and group mapping through an Identity Provider (IdP).

## Enable SCIM in Contentstack

**Note**: To use SCIM in Contentstack, make sure your Contentstack’s plan supports SCIM functionality. Moreover, only the [owner](/docs/owners-and-admins/organization-roles#organization-owner) or [admin](/docs/owners-and-admins/organization-roles#organization-admin) of the organization has the right to enable SCIM.

To enable SCIM, log in to your Contentstack account, and perform the following steps:
- On the **All Stacks** page, click the **ORGANIZATION **dropdown menu and click the “Settings” cog icon to open the **Organization Settings** screen.
- Click the **SCIM 2.0 **option and check the **Enable SCIM** option.
- Click **Enable **on the **Enable SCIM 2.0 **modal.

You’ve successfully enabled SCIM for your organization. Next, you can refer to the **SCIM guides** section for adding/removing users and using the **group mapping** functionality in your Contentstack organization via an IdP (Identity Provider).
