# Administration Overview

Administration is where you manage your [organization](/docs/administration/about-organizations) as a whole: its users, roles, teams, stacks, security, and identity settings. Changes you make here apply across every product in the organization.

Which sections you see depends on your [Administration role](/docs/administration/about-administration-roles) and on what is enabled for your organization. For example, the Organization Owner and Admin see the user and role sections, while Single Sign-On (SSO) is managed by the Owner and the Security Manager.

## Prerequisites

*   [Contentstack account](/login)
* An [Administration role](/docs/administration/about-administration-roles) with access to the section you want to open

## Open Administration

To open Administration, sign in to your [Contentstack account](/login) and perform the following steps:

1. If you belong to more than one organization, click your profile initials in the top-right corner and select the organization from **Switch organization**.
2. Click the **App Switcher** icon in the top-right corner and select **Administration**.

Administration opens on the **Org Info** tab. The other sections appear as tabs along the top. When they do not all fit, the rest are under **More**.

## Sections in Administration

The sections appear in this order:

* [Org Info](/docs/administration/organization-information): The organization's name and Organization UID. Owners, Admins, and Security Managers also see the Security Dashboard here.
* [Users](/docs/administration/organization-users): Invite users, change their roles, and remove them from the organization.
* [Roles](/docs/administration/about-administration-roles): Review the Administration roles and product roles, and [create custom roles](/docs/administration/create-custom-roles).
* [Stacks](/docs/administration/organization-stacks): See every stack in the organization, who owns it, and how many users it has.
* [Bulk Task Queue](/docs/administration/organization-bulk-task-queue): Track large bulk operations, such as bulk publishing, as they are processed.
* [Single Sign-On (SSO)](/docs/administration/about-single-sign-on-sso): Let users sign in through your identity provider.
* [SCIM](/docs/administration/about-scim): Provision and deprovision users automatically from your identity provider.
* [Teams](/docs/administration/about-teams): Group users and assign roles to the whole group at once.
* [Security Configuration](/docs/administration/security-configuration): Set multi-factor authentication, password policies, session timeout, and allowed email domains.
* [Webhook Configuration](/docs/administration/webhook-configuration): Set the maximum connections per second for the organization's webhooks.
* [Audit Logs](/docs/administration/monitor-organization-activities-in-audit-log): Review a record of the actions taken in the organization.
* [Data Activation Layer](/docs/lytics/create-data-activation-layer): Capture user interactions across your digital experiences with Data & Insights.
* [AI Settings](/docs/administration/ai-settings): Control how AI features work in the organization, bring your own model keys, and track AI credits.
* **Preferences**: Set default preferences, such as time zone and language, for the organization's users.
* [Log Targets](/docs/administration/log-targets): Export audit, publish, and webhook logs to your own cloud storage.
* **Plan Settings**: Review the features and limits enabled for your organization.
